Shipping and Customs

Discovery Headbands is aware of proper hand washing protocols, cleanliness of work area and importance of sanitization prior to shipping each package.

SHIPPING INFORMATION:

Discovery Headbands offers a variety of shipping options based on the package weight and delivery location.

**Orders will ship out between 5-7 business days after your order is placed**

You will receive an order confirmation via email as well as shipping confirmation once your package is shipped. If you selected tracked shipping that information will be provided in the email. Untracked shipping will arrive regular postage and Discovery Headbands takes no responsibility for mishandled or lost packages. 

The delivery dates displayed at checkout are estimates and Discovery Headbands cannot regulate any delays once the package leaves the studio.

CLOTHING SHIPPING:

All Discovery Headbands clothing is manufactured off site so there is no local pick-up option. All clothing will be shipped to your address provided at checkout. If you place an order with the combination of headbands and clothing, they will arrive in two separate packages as the clothing is shipped directly from the warehouse, and the headbands are shipped from the studio.

CANADIAN ORDERS:

All headband Canadian orders are shipped via Canada Post using standard mail (unless otherwise indicated by your choice of shipping method). This can take anywhere between 8-15 business days (excludes holidays and weekends).

Clothing orders will provide an estimated time of arrival at the product description page.

USA ORDERS:

All USA orders are shipped via Canada Post through Tracked Packet USA Air (unless otherwise indicated by your choice of shipping method). This can take anywhere between 8-21 business days (excludes holidays and weekends).

Shipping Responsibilities

By purchasing from Discovery Headbands, the customer agrees that we are not responsible once the courier service receives the package to ship. This includes:

• Mis-delivered packages
• Stolen packages
• Incorrect addresses provided by customer (If your shipping package gets returned to sender, the buyer is responsible for the reshipment fee. For this reason, it is important to ensure your shipping information is correct.)
• Courier error. Please contact your local courier service for any shipping errors that may occur.
• PO Box issues

LOCAL PICK UP (headbands only):

At checkout there will be an option to select local pick up which is FREE. This is for those who are in the Peterborough Ontario Canada area and are able to coordinate with Discovery Headbands a time to pick up your order.

Once the order is placed, Discovery Headbands will send an email with further details regarding picking up your order. Thank you for shopping local :)

 

CUSTOMS, DUTIES & TAXES

Orders shipping outside of Canada may be subject to additional customs, duties and taxes determined by the destination country, order value and contents.

Customs, duties and taxes are not included in product prices and/or shipping costs. Customs, duties and taxes are the buyer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated or shown at checkout. To determine these costs, please check with your country’s customs office prior to purchasing. These additional fees may be required to be paid before or upon delivery of your order.
